Left Write Hook (LWH) is a not-for-profit and registered charity that empowers women survivors recovering from lifelong impacts of childhood sexual abuse through its peer-led, trauma-informed group recovery program of writing and boxing. Left Write Hook enables a safe community where survivors reclaim their bodies to re-author their story through shared lived-experience, and movement, for body trauma.

Delivering writing and non-contact boxing classes for female-identifying survivors of abuse and trauma, LWH is delivered at local gyms (including F&M) across 8-weeks and combines boxing and writing, mental health support and personal development under the leadership of in-house lived-experience trainers.

Left Write Hook is dedicated to helping adult survivors of sexual abuse through a peer-led, research and trauma-informed recovery program. The focus is on providing a safe, private, and inclusive space for participants to write, box, and share as they break the silence and shame of childhood sexual abuse and trauma.
